The Challenge
The hall and associated buildings had received little significant investment and had fallen into disrepair. The family wanted to preserve the heritage asset while developing a viable use capable of generating income to support its future.
Our Approach
ARC supported the family in developing the diversification project and securing funding.
The proposal was to restore and convert the house and outbuildings to provide high-quality holiday accommodation alongside facilities for private parties, corporate events and community gatherings.
The project brought together heritage conservation, tourism and business development, creating a commercially viable future for an important rural asset.

The project has brought a neglected heritage asset back into productive use while creating a new income stream and supporting the wider rural visitor economy.
